Project Wings at SWR
In June, our founder and managing director Marc Helwing was a guest on SWR’s Landesschau Rheinland-Pfalz. There, he was interviewed by Holger Wienpahl about many topics. In this exciting talk, the focus lies on the founding history of Project Wings, the biggest recycling village in the world and the current state of affairs.
Additionally, the two of them talked about the current unemployment of numerous people on Sumatra. Due to the Corona crisis many Indonesians were not able to pursue their jobs. Our project could, despite Corona, be continued and even expanded, so that we could offer many people a new job opportunity and thus also contribute a part against unemployment.
Afterwards, Marc Helwing and Holger Wienpahl talked about our future Ecobrick buildings. It is scheduled, for example, to build a sports hall in the recycling village. The “most sustainable sports ground in the world” is also set to enter in the Guiness Book of Records.
